The NomCom 2021 selection announcement (and dedicated timeline) was sent last year May 28th:
* Announcement of call for nominations for 2021 ICANN NomCom: 28 May 2021 * Nomination period ends: 27 June 2021 * Evaluation of nominations by the ASO AC: 28 June 2021 – 8 July 2021 * Voting period by the ASO AC: 9 July 2021 – 15 July 2021 * Announcement of selected delegate: around 16 July 2021.
As the name of our delegate has to be shared no later than May 31st, we’ve to prepare the timeline ASAP, with a sufficiently long Nomination period to do proper outreach.

Note that the NomCom's workload will increase significantly during the candidate assessment process. Conference calls are held more frequently during this time as well (typically weekly and the duration of the calls may last up to three hours). * All NomCom delegates should have the ability to travel to and participate in ICANN Public meetings and NomCom meetings when requested (travel and hotel accommodations will be provided for all approved meetings). If travel is restricted, then NomCom delegates will meet virtually.
The 2023 NomCom will invite applicants for the following positions:
* Two members of the ICANN Board of Directors. * One member of the PTI Board of Directors. * Three regional representatives to the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) – one each representing the Africa region, Asia, Australia, and Pacific Islands region, and Latin America and Caribbean region. * Two members of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council – one representing the Contracted Parties House and one representing the Non-Contracted Parties House. * One member of the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) Council.
