ASO AC selects Raimundo Beca to serve a new term on the ICANN Board

The ASO is pleased to announce that the ASO Address Council has selected Raimundo Beca to serve a new term on the ICANN Board.
Mr Beca's appointment follows a lengthy selection process, including a public call for nominations, interviews with eligible candidates, background checks, a public comment period, and a vote by all ASO Address Council members. The Address Council confirmed the result at their meeting on 2 May 2007.

On 3 May 2007, the AfriNIC community elected Vincent Ngundi to the NRO-NC/ASO-AC. He will serve a three year term beginning on 1 January 2008, replacing Ali Badiel.
