Bellow a report about last LACNIC event, 39th. During the teleconference, we can address specific points if needed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------- Meeting took place in Merida/MX in hybrid format from May 8th to 12th.
According to LACNIC, there were 857 attendees in person and 637 remotely.
Hervé (ASO AC Chair) attended the meeting in person, and arranged informal conversation with ASO/AC members from the region as well as with LACNIC CEO.
The LAC region Peering Forum and the RISE Conference were also held during the week.
Tutorials covering IPv6, Secure Routing, RPKI, Geolocation and other topics were conducted on Monday and also on Friday.
During the Policy Forum the following policy proposals were presented: - LAC-2020-6 v4: Modifications to the PDP. To adjust concept of abandoned proposal and editorial changes during last call.
LAC-2022-3 v2: Managing Recovered Resources originally part of the Reserve for Critical Infrastructure. To instruct LACNIC about what to do with recovered resources originally allocated to Critical Infrastructure.
LAC-2020-3 v5: Impact Analysis Is Mandatory. To make the Impact Analysis an obligatory item for the discussion process and to instruct LACNIC on when to publish them.
LAC-2023-2 v1: S5-DNSREVERSO-IPv4-IPv6. To update current text about DNS reverse delegation including IPv6.
LAC-2023-1 v1: Clarify Definition of Consensus. To clarify consensus in the policy discussion specially regarding new version of already presented proposals.
The ASO/AC report was also presented during the Policy Forum session.
The General Members Assembly was conducted and Oscar Robles presented justifications for a future fee schema review.
At the closing session the LACNIC40, in conjunction with LACNIC2023, was announced and will take place in Fortaleza Brazil from the 2nd to 6th of next October.
