Hi.
Thanks Hervé for bringing this up.
I support it. In fact it would be even better if possible to reschedule both.
Or at least the second one, as it will be in Bolivia and there the timezone is UTC-4. And so the middle of our conference would be right in the start of the sessions, as 12UTC would be like 8am there.

HI
I think that (as a good practice to avoid this conflicts) we might move our monthly meeting to the second week of the month, when an RIR/IETF/xNOG meeting will be happening in the first week of the month. It should be applicable also to January, because some of us will be on vacations

Hi,
As per AC created in our last teleconference I would like to propose adjustments to the 2020 AC Teleconference Schedule.
I would like to propose we postpone the May meeting to the 20th. This to avoid the clash with LACNIC33 and RIPE80 meetings.
I would also like to propose we postpone the October meeting to the 14th to avoid the clash with LACNIC34 meeting
regards,
Ricardo Patara

Hi Ricardo, I proposed a workaround for this situations in the 2020 and in the future, moving the meeting (by default) to the second week of the month when it clash with any other relevant meeting. If you like it, I can join with you to work on this, and send a proposal in a few days.

Thanks for your proposal. I think more generally the idea is to avoid any clash with an RIR meeting. I that something you plan to include in the N+1 year work plan ?

Hi Hervé,
You're right, but my proposal is not restricted to the RIR meetings. I suggesting to avoid conflict (if possible) with any other meeting of interest (RIR, NOGs, ICANN, IETF) because some of us might use different hats and at least for me, it's important that the most of the AC can be able to attend to the monthly meeting.
I think that we should include at the end of each year work plan, an open action for the group and the secretariat, to compile the next year event calendar, to adjust our monthly meeting schedule for the next year.
Regards, Jorge

Hi,
As per AC created in our last teleconference I would like to propose adjustments to the 2020 AC Teleconference Schedule.

Assuming we'll keep the first Wednesday of the month and the 12:00 PM (noon) UTC call time (no changes in time zones with Martin and Mike joining the ASO AC) Please review this first attempt to define the teleconference schedule for 2020.
I added a comment when we have a Industry related meeting on or around the teleconference date. Topic will be part of next week teleconference.
