APNIC EC took a timely decision for appointing ASO AC Member.

&nbsp; &nbsp; The APNIC Executive Council (EC) is pleased to announce the appointment
&nbsp; &nbsp; of Nicole Chan as a member of the Number Resource Organization Number
&nbsp; &nbsp; Council (NRO NC) representing the APNIC region.
&nbsp; &nbsp; The NRO NC fulfils the role of the Address Supporting Organization
&nbsp; &nbsp; Address Council (ASO AC).
&nbsp; &nbsp; She will serve a one-year term, from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021.
&nbsp; &nbsp; Nicole is the Vice Chair of Taiwan’s Digital Transformation Association,
&nbsp; &nbsp; a DotAsia Board Member and an Advisor to TWNIC.
&nbsp; &nbsp; Nicole will join the community-elected representatives from the APNIC
&nbsp; &nbsp; region on the NRO NC for 2021, Aftab Siddiqui and Shubham Saran.
&nbsp; &nbsp; Shubham was elected to the NRO NC at APNIC 50 for a two-year term,
&nbsp; &nbsp; starting 1 January 2021 and ending 31 December 2022.
&nbsp; &nbsp; The APNIC EC would like to thank departing NRO NC members, Simon Sohel
&nbsp; &nbsp; Baroi and Brajesh Jain, for their service to the community.
&nbsp; &nbsp; The scheduled IANA Numbering Services Review Committee election for 2020
&nbsp; &nbsp; was deferred by the EC and the term of the current community-elected
&nbsp; &nbsp; member, Bertrand Cherrier (Micro Logic Systems, New Caledonia), was
&nbsp; &nbsp; extended until 31 December 2021.
&nbsp; &nbsp; The Review Committee periodically reviews the provision of IANA
&nbsp; &nbsp; numbering services to the RIRs. The Review Committee includes 15 members
&nbsp; &nbsp; in total (three from each RIR community).
