I also received an error in the last step of the voting process and I worried too. But, a couple a minutes later, I received the correct confirmation message counting my vote with my correct preference. Definitively, the system is working fine.

This is a reminder of the coming ASO appointment to the ICANN NomCom election
You will receive an automated email around midnight Friday 9 July (UTC Time) with an unique token and url to cast your vote.
This election is ruled by the ASO AC Procedures to Appoint Members to Various Bodies
You will find a ballot with the candidates name (sorted by last name) and the abstention option.
The appointment will be based on a relative majority if more than half of the AC members have voted.
As soon as we reach the deadline ( 15 July 2021 23:59 UTC) or all ASO AC members have casted their votes, The Secretariat will report the results in this list by a relation of your assigned token and the selected candidate or abstention option.
