There is an ICANN org webinar for the community/public at 18:00 UTC today to explain the decision and a teleconference at 11:00 UTC tomorrow for the SO/AC planning committee to discuss how to move forward. I will be in touch with the ASO and ASO AC leaderships as we learn more about next steps for implementing a remote participation-only meeting.

We at the ICANN board had an intensive meeting this morning (in Melbourne) and reached a difficult decision.nce
Fully Remote Participation Only meeting had been carefully considered and the decision was made based on the estimation of fair viability, although we may encounter problems unknown. I know many further coordination at SOs and ACs should be done to make the unprecedented meeting effectively run, bu I am sure Policy Support Team will handle the needed coordination, which I appreciate much.
