I simply asked why and under what procedural authority. If my questions are unable to be answered, that is completely fine.

Martin,

The information has always been archived at the conclusion. That historically has been mailing lists, but this round we also utilized a private WIKI.

The information stored is no longer required, given the PII data, we do not have any reason to store it beyond what would be considered reasonable.

The 6-month window was my recommendation in April, do you believe that 6 months is to short a window to retain PII data?

Thanks,

Kevin Blumberg

What is the requirement or (or approved procedure authority) to remove the records?

Dear ASO AC

We have a pending task about removing the documentation (interview notes, scorecards, reports, etc)  of the recent concluded ICANN Board election.

As part of the notes of a special teleconference on 14 April it was mentioned the following:

“It was noted that all documents related to the election would be kept on the ASO wiki until the closing of the voting phase, after which the Secretariat would remove them from the wiki but archive them for a period of six months before deleting them completely.”

Unless you have any comments or concerns  the Secretariat will proceed to remove all files from the internal wiki and keep them offline for the next 6 months before delete them completely.

regards

German
