    APNIC EC appoints Nicole Chan to NRO NC
    ________________________________________________________________________


    The APNIC Executive Council (EC) is pleased to announce the appointment
    of Nicole Chan as a member of the Number Resource Organization Number
    Council (NRO NC) representing the APNIC region.

    The NRO NC fulfils the role of the Address Supporting Organization
    Address Council (ASO AC).

    She will serve a one-year term, from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021.

    Nicole is the Vice Chair of Taiwan’s Digital Transformation Association,
    a DotAsia Board Member and an Advisor to TWNIC.

    Nicole will join the community-elected representatives from the APNIC
    region on the NRO NC for 2021, Aftab Siddiqui and Shubham Saran.
    Shubham was elected to the NRO NC at APNIC 50 for a two-year term,
    starting 1 January 2021 and ending 31 December 2022.

    The APNIC EC would like to thank departing NRO NC members, Simon Sohel
    Baroi and Brajesh Jain, for their service to the community.

    The scheduled IANA Numbering Services Review Committee election for 2020
    was deferred by the EC and the term of the current community-elected
    member, Bertrand Cherrier (Micro Logic Systems, New Caledonia), was
    extended until 31 December 2021.

    The Review Committee periodically reviews the provision of IANA
    numbering services to the RIRs. The Review Committee includes 15 members
    in total (three from each RIR community).
