Dear ASO/AC excom members
My apologies as I was earlier disconnected from the call ASO today because I was in a meeting outside my office and I tried to connect with my 4G connection without any lack due to poor network reception.
It has come to my attention that the issue of lobbying for AFRINIC Board elections was discussed today during the call.
Since I was speaking in my personal capacity, I have since sent an email to the Afrinic community to clarify as such.
Please find in attachment the email I sent to the community regarding the issue.
I also want to bring to your attention the fact that some members from the Afrinic community wanted to use my mail (which was sent in June the 9th, ,2019 ) to divert the community attention from an issue that I raised about the abuse of the PDP sent yesterday the 3rd July 2019 (see attachment ).
The email was sent from a member who has never been active on the AFRINIC mailing and has never participated on PDP or any AFRINIC discussions!
I hope this clarifies the matter to all colleagues at the ASO AC.
