Doodle Poll: ICANN Board Election Procedures Work Session

Dear ASO AC As discussed in the last ASO teleconference I’m attaching a poll to establish a work session to start discussions on ICANN Board Election Procedures. https://doodle.com/poll/zmgp938t6zecy6qd?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link ASO AC Chairs agreed to divide the session in an open and closed sections of 45 mins each. The closed session could be used to discuss particular aspects of the previous election. Dear ASO AC I’m attaching draft minutes of this week teleconference. Open Actions New Action Item 210602-1: KB to send out a Doodle poll to the AC to schedule a meeting approximately three weeks from today to discuss ASO AC ICANN Board selection procedures update. Action Item 210407-1: KB to review the timeline for the time-sensitive items on which the ASO AC will work as part of their ‘virtual meeting’ (ASO AC procedures, global policy development process) to present to the ASO AC so they can determine what work needs to be done to prepare for two or three calls to address those specific topics and then schedule those calls. All Am I mistaken that we have not seen a recruiting effort in our RIR family for this position? While we failed on board recruiting we have a fresh opportunity to elevate the RIR community. How can we do this? ICANN Board Election 9 Records

Dear ASO AC We have a pending task about removing the documentation (interview notes, scorecards, reports, etc) of the recent concluded ICANN Board election. As part of the notes of a special teleconference on 14 April it was mentioned the following: “It was noted that all documents related to the election would be kept on the ASO wiki until the closing of the voting phase, after which the Secretariat would remove them from the wiki but archive them for a period of six months before deleting them completely.” Unless you have any comments or concerns the Secretariat will proceed to remove all files from the internal wiki and keep them offline for the next 6 months before delete them completely. regards German
