Dear ASO

Today, the ASO published a follow-up notice to the RIR community regarding the ICANN Empowered Community Rejection Action Petition initiated by ALAC concerning the proposed Standard Bylaws Amendment to Article 27 of the ICANN Bylaws.

Following receipt of a request for the ASO to consider supporting the ALAC Rejection Action Petition, the NRO Executive Council consulted the RIR communities and the ASO AC.

No input in support of the petition was received through this consultation process. As a result, and in accordance with the ASO’s consideration of Empowered Community matters, the ASO will not support the Community Rejection Petition.
